Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to own the marketing of one of our mountain resorts. Our goal is to generate more direct and repeat bookings. You’ll be communicating to a niche audience of mountain enthusiasts with high disposable income, and corporations (as well as their entourages e.g. PA/EAs) with compelling and visually excellent content to showcase that we are the market-leading accommodation provider.
Working with a driven and dynamic group of people, your journey will be fun and challenging. From technical to creative, this is a truly exciting opportunity.
A talented and proactive executor, working closely with the ‘Emerald Studio’ you’ll be responsible for all channels in the marketing mix - the full stack.
Your main focus will be marketing for one of our Jewels (a subsidiary). Some of your time will be spent supporting marketing for Emerald Stay (the mother company). Approx. 70/30 split.
For the activities listed below, ideally, you will have working knowledge of these channels, and experience executing on them.
For the areas where you have less experience, the wider team will support you.
We will also provide training in all areas to help you become a full-stack marketer.
Core responsibilities
- Content
- Goal: regular publishing of marketing assets
- Strategy, creation, and scheduling of all content
- Copywriting, editing, publishing
- Photography/videography (if you have those skills)
- Working in line with the tone of voice guidelines
- Working with Storyblok CMS
- Image and video editing
- Audio editing
- Branding
- Goal: ensure all external assets are within guidelines
- Graphic design skills are nice to have, but not essential
- Acute attention to detail is essential - on-brand radar
- Working with graphic and web designers to create assets
- Search Engine Optimisation
- Goal: increase organic traffic/bookings by X (TBC)
- Executing on the content side of the SEO strategy
- Creating and optimising website pages
- Monitoring/reporting technical metrics e.g. ‘Core Web Vitals’
- Collaborating on various ways to acquire links
- Working with the tech team on development needs
- Paid Advertising
- Goal: increase organic traffic/bookings by X (TBC)
- Executing on paid advertising campaigns e.g. Google and Meta
- Creation and optimisation of various campaigns
- Project managing graphic design needs
- Budget management and ROI analysis
- Social Media
- Goal: elevate social media channels - growth and engagement
- Management/execution on all channels: FB, IN, LI, TT etc.
- Content planning, creation, scheduling, publishing
- Community engagement
- Executing paid amplification
- Email/SMS
- Goal: management of all newsletters/SMS communications
- Creation and publication of content sent to our database
- HubSpot mastery: ensure holistic use of marketing tools
- Project management of design needs

- Organising and project managing events
- Actively fostering the community, including both owners and guests, to create a stronger connection and loyalty towards the brand
- Owner Communications: Managing communication channels with property owners, including regular newsletters, email updates, and other relevant touchpoints
- Following up with current sponsors and collaborators, such as Helly Hansen, CMH Heliski, Vicky Foods, and various local brands, to maintain and potentially expand these valuable partnerships.
