We’re seeking a Principal Product Manager to focus on Product Strategy and serve as a strategic linchpin, reporting directly to the Chief Product Officer (CPO). In this high-impact role, you’ll partner with the CPO to define and drive Finom’s overarching product strategy across all product areas and domains—spanning spend management, accounts receivable/invoicing, and payments. You’ll bridge the gap between market insights, customer needs, and business goals, helping craft a cohesive outcomes-focused product strategy that accelerates our growth and cements our position as a category leader in our focus markets.

This role is perfect for an experienced product strategist thriving in a similar capacity or a high-performing leader from a top-tier consulting firm eager to pivot into product leadership. You’ll operate at the intersection of strategy, execution, and influence, shaping the direction of our platform and ensuring every move we make ladders up to our mission.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Partner with the CPO to define and refine Finom’s short and long-term product strategy, aligning it with our mission to empower entrepreneurs and our hyper-growth objectives.
  • Conduct deep market and competitive analysis to identify emerging trends, opportunities, and threats, translating insights into actionable product strategies.
  • Collaborate with product leaders across domains (e.g., spend management, invoicing, payments) to ensure a unified, customer-centric strategy that maximizes impact.
  • Own the development of strategic frameworks, roadmaps, and OKRs that guide product teams and tie directly to measurable business outcomes like revenue growth and customer retention.
  • Act as a thought partner to the CPO and senior leadership, providing data-driven recommendations to inform investment decisions, prioritization, and resource allocation.
  • Dive into customer research and SME pain points, synthesizing qualitative and quantitative insights to uncover unmet needs and high-value opportunities.
  • Champion integrating AI and other technologies into our product strategy, ensuring we stay ahead of the curve in delivering innovative solutions.
  • Facilitate cross-functional alignment, working closely with engineering, design, data, marketing, and commercial teams to bring strategic initiatives to life.
  • Communicate the product strategy compellingly to diverse stakeholders—executives, teams, and external partners—translating complex ideas into clear, actionable plans.
  • Balance long-term vision with short-term wins, identifying quick-impact opportunities that build momentum while advancing our strategic goals.

Who You Are

  • You bring extensive experience in product strategy, product management, or management consulting, with a proven ability to solve complex problems and drive impactful outcomes.
  • You’re a strategic thinker with a knack for synthesizing market data, customer insights, and business metrics into coherent, forward-looking plans.
  • You have a strong understanding of B2B SaaS, fintech, or SME-focused solutions, with an ability to grasp the financial and operational challenges entrepreneurs face.
  • You’re comfortable operating at a senior level, influencing without authority, and aligning diverse stakeholders around a shared vision.
  • You excel in ambiguous, fast-paced environments, bringing structure and clarity to undefined challenges.
  • You’re analytically rigorous and technical, with experience leveraging data to inform decisions, set priorities, and measure success without the need and support of a data team.
  • You’re an exceptional communicator, able to distill intricate concepts into compelling narratives for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • You thrive on collaboration, with a track record of partnering with cross-functional teams to turn strategy into execution.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in a high-growth startup or scale-up, balancing rapid iteration and long-term planning.
  • A background in fintech, payments, or financial services, with hands-on knowledge of building customer-facing platforms.
  • Prior experience at a top-tier consulting firm (e.g., McKinsey, BCG, Bain) with a focus on strategy, product, or technology engagements.
  • Familiarity with AI-driven product innovation and its application in B2B contexts.

Working format:

Cyprus: Relocation package is provided.

Spain: we are only able to hire candidates who possess a DNI (for Spanish nationals) or an NIE (for foreign nationals). Relocation support is not provided.

Poland: employment will be under 'Umowa o Pracę' (UoP). Relocation support is not provided.
