• Oversee and manage all aspects of the accounting department, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements under US GAAP and Spanish GAAP.
• Implement and maintain effective internal controls and accounting procedures.
• Manage the accounting team, including assigning tasks, providing guidance, and ensuring quality control.
• Reconcile general ledger accounts and oversee bank entries.
• Support the consolidation process and ensure accurate reporting.
• Control and analyze profit and loss statements.
• Generate and interpret HFM reports for financial analysis.
• Stay up-to-date on accounting standards and best practices.
• Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement within the accounting department.
• Liaise with external auditors during the audit process.

¿A quién buscamos (H/M/D)?

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA or CMA a plus)
• 5+ years of accounting experience, with a minimum of 1/2 years in a leadership role
• Proven experience in managing an accounting team - 3 people will be managed
• Experience with US GAAP and Spanish GAAP
• Desired knowledge in ERP systems (SAP, M3, AS400, D365, QAD)
• Experience with HFM reporting and financial analysis
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• Strong fluency in English and very valuable French
