What will make you successful in this position?
- 5+ years of experience as a AWS Data Engineer.
- Proficiency with AWS services, including AWS SSO, AWS CLI, AWS RDS, Lambda, EC2, Step Functions, API Gateway, S3, Redshift, Glue, and EMR.
- Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong knowledge of S3, EC2, FTP, Transfer Family, and MULE.
- Expertise in Python programming.
- Familiarity with SQS, PostgreSQL, and Oracle 12c.
- Experience with Databricks Workflows, Databricks notebooks, and Spark.
- Skilled in SQL, Python, and other relevant programming languages.

Nice to have skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, and Kafka.
- Familiarity with machine learning frameworks and tools.
- Experience with data governance and best practices.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools for CI/CD.
- Industry experience in the energy and oil industry.
- Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum).
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified Data Analytics, or PMP certification.

What will be your mission?
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and systems on AWS.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver solutions.
- Implement data integration, transformation, and validation processes.
- Optimize and manage data storage solutions, ensuring data security and compliance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues and provide ongoing support.
