About You

You are a proactive Project Manager with experience in digital agencies or consultancies. You will be essential to delivering diverse projects—from web development and digital optimisation (SEO, SEM, UX/UI, CRO, and marketing automation) to technology integrations—on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

At Novicell, a Project Manager's responsibilities include

• Contributing to sales efforts by participating in presales meetings.
• Managing project budgets after the scoping phase.
• Facilitating clear communication and collaboration within production teams.
• Cultivating and maintaining strong relationships with key clients, taking ownership of these accounts.
• Overseeing the complete project lifecycle, from initiation to successful closure. This includes defining project goals, developing work plans and timelines, and coordinating with business and technical teams to ensure alignment.
• Proactively identifying and mitigating potential risks and problems.
• Tracking project progress, keeping stakeholders informed, and ensuring high-quality deliverables that meet all requirements.
  
  

You are our Project Manager if your skills are

• Leadership & Communication: Inspire and guide teams, fostering collaboration and ensuring clear, concise communication across all stakeholders.
• Problem-Solving & Adaptability: Proactively identify and resolve challenges in dynamic project environments, adjusting strategies as needed.
• Time Management & Organization: Prioritise tasks effectively to meet deadlines and achieve project milestones.
• Project Management Expertise: Proficient in Agile and Waterfall methodologies, with hands-on experience using Jira and MS Project (or similar tools) for planning, tracking, and reporting. Demonstrated ability to manage the full IT project lifecycle, from initiation to closure, including creating and maintaining detailed documentation (business cases, process flows, use cases).
• Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of web development processes (front-end, back-end, deployments, quality control) and compliance with technical requirements. Experience defining and communicating product vision, strategy, and goals.
• Proficient in MS PowerPoint and Excel for creating reports, documentation, and presentations.
• Professional fluency in English.

A typical day at Novicell

At Novicell, a Project Manager's day is a dynamic mix of collaboration and execution. It might begin with a stand-up meeting to align on project updates and priorities. From there, you could refine requirements, update Jira, present progress, and gather feedback from clients. Throughout the day, you'll collaborate with developers, designers, and marketing specialists, ensuring projects stay on track and documentation is up-to-date. The day often concludes with stakeholder updates or tackling any last-minute challenges to ensure smooth project progression.

• You can work from home or come to the office (we’d love that!). Living in Barcelona is a plus for social events but it's not mandatory. We have colleagues in Valencia, Sevilla, Málaga, and Tenerife. You're welcome as long as you are based in Spain and have a working permit.
